                                                       Interview Reflection

This essay will discuss the interview we had last week in the classroom J003 on Sunday 24/2/2013. And it is specifically about a guy I observed called Muhammad Al-Ali  H00254243. Between 9:13and 9:34.

First I’d like to discuss how I did as observer according to the task sheet. I believe that in the welcoming side I did bad because, I didn’t smile well when he entered the classroom I was pretending that I am smiling so I felt like the candidate felt nerves also, I even didn’t say anything nice at all like hello or good morning. However, the good side of my interdiction was when I introduced myself to him by telling him my name and what my position in this company and eye contact him. I explained to him what we are expecting from this interview. In addition, the interview started and the candidate was dressing Kandora which is a traditional cloth in his culture. He was smiling all the time. Furthermore, the interdiction went good. The candidate used clear English language with almost no spelling mistakes or stutter and showing the interviewers who’s asking him his self-confident by siting well and answering with strong voice. Moreover, I noticed that he did not use any body language he even did not change the way of how he’s sitting. His hand was in his lap all the time long. But I might take my eyes away of that because being nerves is something normal in such situation. However, he answered all the questions smoothly.  Except one question which is about what salary he wants.

Overall. I believe he did great in the interview specifically by showing his self-confident and answering the questions smoothly which showed his strong personality and preparation. I hope him the best and I hope him a bright future.
