Teachers Part

In this essay I am going to conclude whether I can study by my own or if I still depend on my teachers to do well on my courses.

Teachers are those who teach us things we might even never hear about. They are those who make sure to deliver knowledge to us. Furthermore, we can depend on them in certain things like math for example because math needs explanations and understanding the equations which is something we might never done without a teacher to guide us and correct for us. However, we make notes of what they say to help us studying since not all what they say in the book. In addition, when we go to field trip with them they explain the things we see to us to educate us more. The high school prepared me well through team work tasks but they didn't teach us English grammar well. However as a student’s we can be more independence through practicing more if the subject are more practical and study more at home.

All in all teachers are part of our education journey which help us to understand the world around us and we can’t learn everything without them.

                                        Reflective Questions Meeting

In this essay I am going to discuss a Reflective Questions Meeting from a meeting we have in 27 of March 2013 on Wednesday starting from 11:30 to 11:45. The Meeting leader and the Note taker is Hamad Khalid, the TimeKeeper is Khalefa ali, the Facilitator and introducer is Muhammad Abdullah. Attendees by Muhammad Abullah and Khalefa Ali, Hamad Khalid and Muhammad Ali. Also to evaluate myself and how I did.
The role I played in the meeting was the Timekeeper to make sure that we are not wasting time on one subject and move more ahead so we don’t waste the meeting time. However I think I was well prepared for the meeting I kept moving on the subjects when the other members stop in once so we don’t waste the time. Furthermore, I think from scale of 10 I’d evaluate myself eight out of ten. I played big part in the meeting I mentioned the drawn art and T-Shirts. Moreover, my team liked my contribution they believe I did well specially by saving time and produce ideas and by making the meeting smoother. In Addition, I think I did well with organizing the time and introduce the ideas but I could be even better by helping them when they stick at point in the meeting thru changing the subject.
Overall  I did great job in this meeting and I hope to do well in the other meetings it was a nice meeting that gave me little bit experience of real meeting that I may have in the future

Meeting Report

Meeting Report

In this report I am going to talk about a meeting we had on the 27 of March 2013 on Wednesday starting from 11:30 to 11:45.

The meeting started by welcoming the members by Muhammad Abdullah. He introduced the problem which is, building shelter for the sake of very poor children in Cambodia and how we can help them. He also mentioned that it won’t be easy because the challenge is to raise 25,000 Dhs in a week. Hamad Khalid introduced the idea of selling lemony and advertises for it to raise money since it’s so hot here in Abu Dhabi. The group seemed to like the idea except Muhammad Ali he disagreed saying that it will cost us money and time. Besides we won’t raise that much money for 5 Dhs per Cup and I suggest we sell T-shirts instead with 25 Dhs per one or Cubs with Drawn Art from Cambodia which will help to collect the money requested. However, the members in general thought it won’t help that much so we need to take a serious action to raise much money as we can in a week. Muhammad Abdullah suggested we collect the money through selling items we don’t want. But,  Khalefa Ali thought we should not use this idea because most of the people like the new items not the used once also most of the group member have nothing for sale so he  suggested that selling drawn art is better because each painted art might cost between 2000-4000 and with this amount of money we can raise the money easily. Also we won’t lose anything because these art works belong to me so we won’t waste money nor lose time at all.   The group felt to be so interesting in this idea so Muhammad Abdullah asked what the way to advertise these art works. Hamad Khalid answered by Posters and Social Media which will advertise it well, However. We should take action from today by taking pictures of these work arts and put it everywhere so all people see it from now and to not forget we might not find buyer from the college itself. Khalefa and Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Abdullah agreed with Hamad Khalid. In addition Muhammad Abullah asked if we all agree with the idea and the members answered positive. The meeting summarized by Hamad Khalid and the summary is to sell the painted arts work and take action from today. The meeting finished earlier then it was expected it could go better if they dropped more ideas such as make people play Ps3 for 10 Dhs per hour. But the idea of the painted art went better since the whole members agreed for it. Moreover, the members were organized in time and well know of what the problem is and what the solution is.

All in all the meeting decisions took action in the same day to find buyer and raise the requested money for the sake of the poor children in Cambodia. Knowing that 25.000 hard to be collected in one week.

                                                       Interview Reflection

This essay will discuss the interview we had last week in the classroom J003 on Sunday 24/2/2013. And it is specifically about a guy I observed called Muhammad Al-Ali  H00254243. Between 9:13and 9:34.

First I’d like to discuss how I did as observer according to the task sheet. I believe that in the welcoming side I did bad because, I didn’t smile well when he entered the classroom I was pretending that I am smiling so I felt like the candidate felt nerves also, I even didn’t say anything nice at all like hello or good morning. However, the good side of my interdiction was when I introduced myself to him by telling him my name and what my position in this company and eye contact him. I explained to him what we are expecting from this interview. In addition, the interview started and the candidate was dressing Kandora which is a traditional cloth in his culture. He was smiling all the time. Furthermore, the interdiction went good. The candidate used clear English language with almost no spelling mistakes or stutter and showing the interviewers who’s asking him his self-confident by siting well and answering with strong voice. Moreover, I noticed that he did not use any body language he even did not change the way of how he’s sitting. His hand was in his lap all the time long. But I might take my eyes away of that because being nerves is something normal in such situation. However, he answered all the questions smoothly.  Except one question which is about what salary he wants.

Overall. I believe he did great in the interview specifically by showing his self-confident and answering the questions smoothly which showed his strong personality and preparation. I hope him the best and I hope him a bright future.
